Culture in Slovakia

Culture is for people to enjoy, for people to know what culture is. For if people are interested in culture from childhood, it actually becomes such a cultural heritage. For example, I can\’t stop going to the cinema or theater. I love movies and theater. But I also like to see foreign cultures. I love that. I was born in Slovakia and I have lived in Slovakia for six years. So I feel very close to Slovakia. My parents are Czech, but I spent most of my life in Slovakia.

Na Slovensku je krásně.

But to be honest, I have really warm feelings for Slovakia. I really like the local culture in Slovakia, and I would love to return to Slovakia one day, and I\’ve talked to my parents about whether or not they would like to return to Slovakia again. The Czech culture is also beautiful and I have no complaints. For example, Prague and Brno are really beautiful big cities and I have been there many times. I even lived in Brno for the last two years of college. But if I had to choose a city where culture and entertainment are important, I would say Slovakia. And that would be Bratislava.

Ráda cestuji za kulturou.

I like that place the best. Of course, everyone has completely different tastes, likes different things, and has different cultural preferences. Some may not like movies or theater. Some people like music festivals, discos, and other forms of entertainment, which I sometimes plan with friends by the pond. This is also fun. I too like such entertainment held in the garden or by the pond. I have been there several times and it is wonderful.
